Operating Systems Subtab

You use the Operating Systems subtab of the Software tab in the Computers (SP) application to view information about operating systems installed on computers in your organization.

The Operating Systems subtab displays a table window with the following information about each operating system installed on the selected computer:

• operating system name

• manufacturer

• version

You can select an operating system in the table window and expand the row to show the following details for the selected operating system:

• operating system name

• operating system description

• serial number

• manufacturer

• version

• build

• service pack

• character set

• language version, either the name of the language (in English) or the local identifier (LCID)

• organization that the operating system license is registered to

• licensed user

For information about a field, place the cursor in the field and press Alt+F1.
