Duplicate an Escalation

The quickest way to create a new escalation is to duplicate an existing one, and then modify it as needed. When you duplicate an escalation, the system copies all the information from the existing escalation, including the escalation points, actions, and notifications.

To duplicate an escalation:

1. From the Escalations (SP) application, open or create an escalation.

2. From the Select Action menu, choose Duplicate Escalation. The system displays the new escalation.

3. If the Escalation field is empty, enter a value.

4. Modify the escalation as necessary. Ensure all information is correct for the new escalation.

5. Click Save Escalation . The system adds the new escalation to the database.
