Edit an External Escalation

Escalations that are created from an application other than the Escalations (SP) applications are external escalations. The application in which the Escalation was created is visible in the Source Application field of the Escalation tab of the Escalations (SP) application.

If you have the proper security authorization, you can edit external escalations.

To edit an external escalation in the Escalations (SP) application:

1. Display the escalation you want to modify.

2. From the Select Action menu, select Edit External Escalation.

If the escalation was active, it becomes inactive and you can modify fields.

3. Modify the fields as needed.

4. Click Save Escalation .

To make the escalation active, use the Activate/Deactivate Escalation action.
