Report Labor Time You can report labor time in the Incidents (SP) application either for yourself or for other labor codes. Labor for other labor codes might or might not be associated with activities on the incident.
Report your time—You report your labor time spent to resolve the whole incident. To report labor time for yourself, you must be the logged-in user and you must have a record in the People (SP) application. You can report your labor time in the Time Tracking table or you can use the Start Timer and Stop Timer buttons. See the topic Start and Stop the timer for information about using these buttons.
Report labor time for other labor codes. The labor time might or might not be associated with activities. Report this labor time in the Time Tracking table of the Activities tab.
Note: Use this procedure when you are reporting other labor code time spent on activities.
In the Incidents (SP) application, display the record for which you want to report labor time.
On the Activities tab, in the Time Tracking table window, select the row with the activity for which you want to report labor time.
Note: See the topic Add Activities if you need to add activities to this record.
Select one of the following choices:
Click Select Labor to open the Select Labor dialog box. Select one or more labor codes and click OK. Any labor record that you select must have a craft associated with it.
In the Labor field, enter a value or click Detail Menu to select an option and retrieve a value. Any labor record that you select must have a craft associated with it. Alternately, enter a value in the Craft field. Any craft record you select must have a labor associated with it.
Modify data for each row as needed. To view row details, click View Details .
Complete additional fields as needed. An asterisk (*) indicates a required field.
Click Save Incident .
Note: If you have applied a price schedule with labor pricing rules to this incident, in the Line Price field, the system displays the line price for each approved labor.
Note: Use this procedure when you are reporting labor time not related to activities. This time can be your time working on the incident or any other labor time not associated with an activity.
In the Incidents (SP) application, display the record for which you want to report labor time.
On the Activities tab, in the Time Tracking table window, click New Row. The Row Details open.
Leave the Activity field empty. Select one of the following choices:
Click Select Labor to open the Select Labor dialog box. Select one or more Labor codes and click OK. Any labor record that you select must have a craft associated with it.
