Add Items to Storeroom

You use the Item Master (SP) application to add an item to a storeroom's inventory. An inventory record is created when you add an item to a storeroom. To track the item's balance, you must specify the unit of measure used for issuing the item.

Note: When you add an item to a storeroom, the inventory control, shrinkage cost, and inventory cost adjustment accounts are defaulted from the storeroom record. In the Inventory application, you can display these fields and edit them on the inventory record so that you can make the accounts item/location-specific.

Note: Two dialog boxes are used in this procedure. The second dialog box opens after you click OK on the first one.
