View Nested Item Assembly StructuresView Nested Item Assembly StructuresYou use the Move To action to change the Current Level item and traverse up and down the hierarchy, viewing item assembly structures that are nested within other IASs. The Children table window shows the IAS of the item listed as the current item. The Move To action does not work unless an item has an IAS associated with it.
Display the item record for which you want to view nested item assembly structures.
From the Item
Assembly Structure tab, click View Details
to expand the row.
In the Item field, click Detail
Menu 
and select Move To. The item is moved to the
Current Level field, and the children
are displayed in the table. The Belongs
To field indicates the item to which the current item belongs.
To move back
up the hierarchy, in the Belongs To
field, click Detail Menu and select Move To. The parent
moves up to the Current Item field,
and its children are displayed in the table.
