Change Existing Link Rule Clauses

You use the Link Rule tab in the Link Rules (SP) application to change data in existing link rule clauses.

When you save a modified link clause, the system evaluates the link rule to determine whether the clauses are valid expressions; if a clause is not valid, the system displays an error message and does not save the link rule.

To change data in existing link rule clauses:

1. On the List tab in the Link Rules (SP) application, click a row to select the link rule that you want to change. The system displays the selected link rule on the Link Rule tab.

2. If appropriate, change the description in the link rule description field.

3. In the Link Clauses table window, click the link clause you want to change. The Row Details open.

4. Modify the values in the link clause fields as required.

5. When you have completed all changes, click Save Link Rule  to save the modified link rule.
