Delete a Link Rule

You delete link rules on the Link Rule tab in the Link Rules (SP) application in the Reconciliation module. Use this procedure if you no longer want to use the link rule defined in the link rule record.

You cannot delete a link rule if it is associated with a task defined in the Reconciliation Tasks (SP) application. If you attempt to delete a link rule associated with a task, the system displays an error message.

To delete a link rule:

1. On the List tab in the Link Rules (SP) application, select the link rule that you want to delete. The application displays the selected link rule on the Link Rule tab.

2. From the Select Action menu on the Link Rule tab, select Delete Link Rule.

3. In response to the deletion confirmation dialog box, click Yes to delete the link rule record.
