Add Children to a Location

In the Locations (SP) application, to build a hierarchy or network, add child locations to a location in a system. You also can apply an item assembly structure to create child locations associated with rotating items.

To add children to a location:

1. On the Location tab In the Locations (SP) application, display the location record to which you want to add child locations.

2. If the Systems table contains multiple systems, select the system in which you want to add a child for the current location.

3. In the Children table, click New Row.

4. In the Location field, enter a value or click Detail Menu and select an option.

5. Repeat Steps 3-4 for each child you want to add.

6. Click Save Location .
