Associate Systems with a LocationAssociate Systems with a LocationA location can exist in hierarchical or network systems, or both. When you associate a hierarchical system with a location, you must specify the location's parent within that system if the new location is not the first location assigned to that system. When you associate a network system with a location, specifying the location's parent is optional.
On the Location tab in the Locations (SP) application, display the record to which you want to add one or more systems.
From the Select Action menu, select Associate Systems with Location.
In the System table, click New Row.
In the System field, enter a value or click
Select Value 
to choose from the list. The description is
copied into the Description field.
In the Parent field, enter a value or click
Detail Menu 
to select an option and retrieve a value.
The description is copied into the Description
field. If the system you selected in step 4 is a hierarchical system,
a parent is required unless this is the first location to be associated
with that system.
Repeat steps 3 -5 for each system you want to associate with this location.
Click OK.
Click Save Location
