Associate Safety-Related Assets with a Location

Use the Safety-Related Assets subtab of the Safety tab to associate other assets that workers may need to be aware of, in terms of safety, when they perform work on the selected asset. If the selected asset has hazards or tag outs associated with it, be sure to associate the record with itself on this subtab. Doing so will make the safety-related information available when creating a safety plan or job plan for that asset.

To associate safety-related assets with a location:

1. In the Locations (SP) application, display the  record with which you want to associate a safety-related asset.

2. On the Safety tab, click the Safety-Related Assets subtab.

3. Under the Safety-Related Assets table, click New Row.

4. In the Asset or Location fields, enter a value or click Detail Menu and select an option.

5. Repeat steps 3-4 for each asset you want to associate with the current record.

Note: If the current location record has hazards or tag outs, be sure to add its asset identifier to the Safety-Related Assets table.

6. Click Done.

7. Click Save Location .
