Service Address TabService Address TabUse the Service Address tab in the Locations (SP) application to create or view a service address for the location. The service address for a location typically is different from the bill-to and ship-to address for a location.
This tab includes fields for the street address, longitude and latitude, and free-form directions that you need to dispatch service and maintenance workers to the location.
You can specify a service address for a location, or the location can inherit a service address from a parent location in the address system hierarchy.
If the location has a service address, the Service Address tab displays it.
If the location has no service address, the Service Address tab displays the address of the first ancestor in the address system hierarchy with a value in the Service Address field. The Address from Location field indicates the parent location that supplied the service address.
If the Service Address tab does not display an address, the location has no service address associated with it. This might be because there is no ancestor in the address system with an address. It also might not display an address because the location is not associated with the system designated as the address system.
