Organization Tab

Use the Organization tab to create a new organization or modify certain properties of an existing one.

The Organization tab contains the organization's name and information about the following properties:

• base currencies

• item set

• company set

• GL clearing account

• status

You define other properties of the organization using the Addresses and Sites tabs. You use the Select Action menu to specify organization- and site-level defaults for applications.

Note: When you implement the system, before you can create your first organization, you must define at least one currency code, one item set, and one company set.
