Deleting a Record

You can delete a record in the Problems (SP) application, but only when it has a certain status and only when transactions have not been written against it. You might need security authorization to delete a record.

Status

You cannot delete a record unless it has one of the following statuses:

• NEW

• QUEUED

Transactions and Records

You cannot delete a record that has the following types of transactions or records associated with it:

• Labor transactions

• Workflow history

• Child activities (You can delete the activities and then delete the record.)

• Related records

• Is related to another record

• Is the originating record for another record

• Work Log entries

• Global issue with other records related to it
