Duplicate a Task Filter

You use the Task Filter tab in the Task Filters (SP) application to duplicate an existing task filter. You can use this procedure to create a new task filter based on an existing one. Once you duplicate the filter, the system clears the Filter field, and you must enter a new name for the duplicated task filter.

To duplicate a task filter record:

  1. On the List tab In the Task Filters (SP) application, select the task filter record you want to duplicate. The system displays the selected record on the Task Filter tab.

  2. From the Select Action menu, select Duplicate Task Filter. The system duplicates the task filter record, without a value in the Filter field.

  3. In the Filter field, enter the name for the new task filter record.

  4. If appropriate, in the Description field, type a description. To enter additional information, click Long Description .

  5. If appropriate, in the Task Filter Clauses table window, you can modify the task filter by adding new attributes and values or by removing or modifying existing attributes and values. For more information about changing a task filter, see Modify a Task Filter.

  6. When you complete all modifications, click Save Task Filter to save the task filter record.
