GL Components TabGL Components TabYou use the GL Components tab in the Security Groups (SP) application to specify which GL components, if any, a group can insert or edit in a GL account field. You can specify full privileges or specify them separately for each component of the account code.
The GL Component tab contains an Authorize Group to Change All GL Component Types? check box and one table window:
GL Components - to authorize a group to insert and edit individual GL components. The table window lists all the components in your company's GL account code.
If you select the All GL Component Types option, you cannot select individual components in the table window.
Note: In the system, GL account code formats, including the names and number of components, are specified in the Database Configuration application.
