Set Restrictions on collections

You can set restrictions on which collections a group can access. You use the Data Restrictions tab to define and apply these restrictions.

To set restrictions on collections:

1. On the List tab, select the group for which you want to set restrictions.

2. Click the Data Restrictions tab.

3. Click the Collections Restrictions tab. The Collections table window shows the collections that the group currently has access to.

4. In the Collections table window, click New Row to add a new collection to the table.

5. In the Collection field, specify the name of the collection that you want to grant access to.

6. Optional: In the Description field, type a description of the collection.

7. Repeat steps 4 - 6 for each additional collection you want the group to have access to.

8. Click Save Group to apply your changes.

Note: Creating a collection restriction creates a series of associated object restrictions that can be viewed but not modified on the Object tab.
