Storerooms TabStorerooms TabYou use the Storerooms tab in the Security Groups (SP) application to authorize group access to make transactions with one or multiple storerooms.
Storeroom access is important for inventory processing functions. The system uses this information in transactions that affect inventory items and balances, such as reordering items, issuing items, transferring items, making balance and cost adjustments, and adding items to a location.
The Storerooms tab contains an Authorize Group for All Storerooms? check box and a single table window:
Storeroom Authorization - to list individually the storerooms a group can make transactions with.
Note: to restrict which storerooms a group can view, rather than make transactions with, use the Data Restrictions tab in the Security Groups (SP) application.
If you select the all storerooms option, you cannot enter individual storerooms in the table window.
