You use the Standard Service Authorization action in the Select Action menu to assign a signature option (SIGOPTION) to a standard service so only users or groups that have authorization for that option can execute the standard service.
In the Security Groups (SP) application, choose Standard Service Authorization from the Select Action menu.
In the Web Methods table window, click New Row. The Row Details open.
In the Service field, click Select Value to select a standard service from a list. For example, the PO service.
In the Method field, select the method. For example, changeStatus.
In the Option field, select the option. For example, STATUS.
After you fill in the above three fields, the Application field will be populated with a value.
Click OK.
The standard service is assigned a signature option and any user that calls the standard service via the integration framework (HTTP, EJB, or SOAP) would require their authorization to the signature option to execute the standard service.
Note: Standard Service authorization does not support the use of conditions that may be associated with the signature option. Any condition assigned will be ignored.
