Take Ownership

The owner of a sales order is responsible for managing the work associated with that sales order. You can either select an owner of a sales order or take ownership yourself.

You can view ownership history with the View Sales Order History action.

To take ownership of a sales order:

  1. In the Sales Orders (SP) application, display the sales order for which you want to take ownership.

  2. From the Select Action menu, select Take Ownership. The logged in user is assigned as the owner.
