Apply a Customer Agreement

You apply a customer agreement to a work order in the Work Order Tracking (SP) application. When you apply a customer agreement, you also apply the price schedule that matches certain criteria on the work order. A price schedule describes services you provide, assets and locations entitled to services, conditions and schedules, and the billing rules for estimated and completed work. You can apply one price schedule to a work order. You cannot apply price schedules to task work orders. Task work orders share the price schedule of the work order.

For more information about customer agreements and price schedules, see the Customer Agreements (SP) help.

Note: After you apply the agreement, the pricing rules on the price schedule are used to calculate or recalculate prices for any cost transactions you have reported on the work order and its tasks.

To apply a customer agreement and price schedule to a work order:

  1. In the Work Order Tracking (SP) application, display the work order to which you want to apply a customer agreement.

  2. From the Select Action menu, select Apply Customer Agreement. The most appropriate agreement is applied to the work order. A message shows the identifiers of the agreement and the price schedule that was applied to the work order.

  3. Click Save Record .
