You use the Select Safety Hazards dialog box to view and select hazards associated with safety related assets for the asset or location listed on a work order. You can add one or more of the hazards to the work order's safety plan.
Note: The association between the work order's asset and/or location and their related assets and hazards must exist on the location or asset's record. Safety-related assets might have safety hazards that affect the work environment for the current work order.
Display the work order for which you want to select safety hazards.
From the Select Actions menu, select Select Safety Hazards to open the Select Safety Hazards dialog box.
The system displays safety related assets of the asset and location on the work order in the Safety Related Assets table window.
To determine if a safety related asset has hazards associated with it that you want to apply to the work order, click on the row containing the asset in the Safety Related Assets table window.
If the selected asset has hazards associated with it, the system displays the hazards in the Hazards table window.
To select a hazard, select the Select Record check box. You can select more than one hazard.
To select all hazards displayed in the Hazards table window, select the Select All Records check box in the table header.
Click Apply to Work Order.
The system copies all selected hazard data to the appropriate subtab of the Safety Plan tab, based on the following information for each hazard in the Hazards table window:
If the Can Have Tag Outs? check box is selected, the system copies hazard data to the Lock Out/Tag Out subtab.
If the Can Have Hazardous Materials? check box is selected, the system copies hazard data to the Hazards and Precautions and Hazardous Materials subtabs.
If the Can Have Precautions? check box is selected, the system copies hazard data to the Hazards and Precautions subtab.
To close the dialog box and return to the record, click Done.
