View Costs and PricesUse the View Costs and Prices dialog box to view costs and prices for transactions reported on a work order, its tasks, and all child work orders and their tasks. Transactions for which you view cost and prices are labor, materials, services, and tools. View prices for applied fees and charges. Prices come entered fees and charges or from an applied price schedule. You also can view some pricing alerts and enter or view a customer PO number for this work order.
View costs and prices for work orders in the Work Order Tracking (SP) application.
From the Select Action menu, select View Costs and Prices.
View cost and price information in the dialog box. See the following section for details about the information that you can view.
Optionally, in the Customer PO Number field, add a customer PO number.
Click OK to close the dialog box.
Work Order Totals table
In the Work Order Totals table window, you see cost and price data for the work order and its tasks. See the following field descriptions.
Resource—Source for the total cost or price information.
Estimated Cost—The estimated total costs for planned labor, materials, services, and tools.
Estimated Price—The estimated prices for planned labor, materials, services, tools, and fees and charges. The differences between costs and prices come from an applied price schedule with pricing rules, such as rules for markups and fees.
Actual Cost—The actual total costs for labor, materials, services, and tools. If you unapprove the work order, these fields are not cleared. The actual costs for labor and services include unapproved transactions. To see only approved transactions, use the View Costs action.
Actual Price—The actual prices for labor, materials, services, tools, and fees and charges. The differences between costs and prices come from an applied price schedule with pricing rules, such as rules for markups and fees.
Total Bill Price—The total of actual prices, adjusted for any price quote on the work order.
Hierarchy Grand Totals table
In the Hierarchy Grand Totals table window, you see cost and price data for the work order, its tasks, and all child work orders and their tasks. See the previous section for explanations of the column headings.
Pricing Agreements section
The information in this section is for the work order only. It is not applicable to the work order hierarchy.
Customer PO Required?—Is a customer purchase order is required for the work order?
Customer PO Number—View or enter a customer PO number.
Notify if Price Exceeds—The maximum price that should be charged for the work order. Notify the customer if the price exceeds the amount.
Quote Type—The type of the current price quote.
Quoted Price—The current quoted price.
