Associate Customers with an SLA

You use the Associate Customer dialog box in the Service Level Agreements (SP) application to associate customers with a service level agreement. Associate customers with an SLA if you want the SLA to apply only to tickets or work orders for these customers. If you do not associate a customer with an SLA, it might be applied to any ticket or work order.

You also use this dialog box to view or remove customers associated with the SLA. The SLA can be in any status for you to take these actions.

You might need security authorization to perform this action.

To associate customers with an SLA:

  1. In the Service Level Agreements (SP) application, display the SLA with which you want to associate customers.

  2. From the Select Action menu, choose Associate Customer. The Associate Customer dialog box opens, and lists customers associated with this SLA.

  3. Click New Row.

  4. In the Customer field, enter a value or click Detail Menu to select a value.

  5. Click OK to associate the customer and close the dialog box.

To remove the association of a customer and an SLA:

  1. In the Service Level Agreements (SP) application, display the SLA from which you want to remove a customer.

  2. From the Select Action menu, choose Associate Customer. The Associate Customer dialog box opens, and lists customers associated with this SLA.

  3. On the row with the customer you want to remove, click Mark Row for Delete .

  4. Click OK to remove the association with the customer and close the dialog box.
