Associate Related SLAs

You use the Related SLAs tab in the Service Level Agreements (SP) application to associate service level agreements (SLAs) that are related to one another. When you display an SLA record, you can build a list of the SLAs that the current SLA record supports (also known as parent SLAs), or a list of SLAs that support this one (also known as child SLAs). The system does not allow you to simultaneously associate the same SLA as both a child and parent of another SLA.

When you select SLAs to associate with the current one, the system validates the commitments of the SLAs you are trying to associate and warns you if there are any conflicting or less stringent commitments.
