Delete a Service Level Agreement

You use the Service Level Agreements (SP) application to delete a service level agreement (SLA). When you delete an SLA, the associated escalation is deleted as well.

You cannot delete an SLA if:

If the system displays a message that the record is applied to a record or that the SLA supports another record and cannot be deleted, you can set the status of the SLA to INACTIVE to prevent it from being used in the future.

To delete a service level agreement:

  1. From the Service Level Agreements (SP) application, display the SLA that you want to delete.

  2. From the Select Action menu, select Delete SLA. The system displays a message asking you to confirm the deletion.

  3. Click Yes. The system deletes the SLA record and returns you to the List tab.
