Duplicate a Service Level Agreement

You duplicate a service level agreement (SLA) in the Service Level Agreements (SP) application. Duplicate an SLA to create a new one that is very similar to an existing one.

When you duplicate an SLA, the header information, commitment values, and associated assets and locations are copied to the new SLA. The administrator, start and end dates, customer, associated escalation, related SLAs, KPIs, or associated contracts are not copied.

To duplicate a service level agreement:

  1. In the Service Level Agreements (SP) application, display the SLA that you want to duplicate.

  2. From the Select Action menu, select Duplicate SLA. The new SLA is displayed with a valued inserted in the SLA field. It is a best practice not to modify this value.

  3. Modify the SLA as necessary. Ensure all information is correct for the new SLA.

  4. Click Save SLA .
