Select SLAsYou use the Select SLAs dialog box from the Service Level Agreements (SP) application to select SLAs to associate with the current one. After you choose the SLA(s) and click OK, the system validates the commitments of the SLAs you are trying to associate and warns you if there are any conflicting or less stringent commitments. The system only validates one level up and one level down from the current record, checking all direct parents and all direct children of the selected SLA.
For example, the system displays a warning when you select SLAs to associate if:
for a Response commitment, the current SLA response time is greater than any parent SLA response time or less than any child SLA response time.
for a Resolution commitment, the current SLA resolution time is greater than any parent SLA resolution time or less than any child SLA resolution time.
for a Contact commitment, the current SLA contact time is greater than any parent SLA contact time or less than any child SLA contact time.
