Associate CIs with an SLAYou add configuration items to a service level agreement (SLA) in the Service Level Agreements (SP) application. The SLA is applicable to records such as tickets and work orders that reference one of the configuration items on the SLA. If you do not specify configuration item information on the SLA, the SLA can be applied to records with any configuration item.
Note: Other matching criteria apply. See the topic About Applying Service Level Agreements for more information about matching SLAs to other records.
The SLA must be in a DRAFT or INACTIVE status to associate CIs with it.
In the Service Level Agreements (SP) application, display the SLA to which you want to add a CI.
Click the Configuration Items tab.
In the Configuration Items table window, click New Row.
In the Configuration Item field, enter a value or click Select Value .
In the Classification field, remove or modify the classification associated with the CI, if necessary.
Click Save SLA .
In the Service Level Agreements (SP) application, display the SLA to which you want to add multiple CIs.
Click the Configuration Items tab.
In the Configuration Items table window, click Select Configuration Items.
In the Select Configuration Items window, select one or more CIs to associate with this SLA and click OK to save your changes.
Click Save SLA .
