You use this when a clearance is providing protection for a work order and then needs to be modified. Maintenance accepts the revision before the clearance modification is released to the field.
In this context, the term work order can refer to a work order or a permit.
The clearance revision must have a status of waiting on approval (WAPPR).
There is at least one previous craft approval for the work order.
Conditional: If the work order is blocked, all personnel must sign off from the work order. You can do this in the Work Order Tracking (Nuc) application, the Permits (Nuc) application, or the Sign On/Off (Nuc) application.
Open the work order that is under the protection of the revised clearance.
From the Select Action menu, select View/Accept Clearance Revision. The Clearance Revisions window opens.
Review all the changes being made to the clearance.
Click Accept Revision. Your name and the current date are displayed in the Accepted by and Accepted Date fields respectively.
