The IBM Storage Integration Server is a centralized server system that consolidates a range of IBM storage provisioning, automation, and monitoring solutions through a unified server platform. The IBM Storage Integration Server provides a single server backend location and enables centralized management of IBM storage resources for different virtualization and cloud platforms.

Note: The IBM Storage Integration Server is superseded by IBM Spectrum Control Base Edition, which introduces a brand new GUI and a range of functional enhancements. All further developments are now within the scope of IBM Spectrum Control Base Edition.
