Uninterruptible power-supply requirements
Ensure that you comply with the requirements for the uninterruptible power supply.
To avoid data loss if there is a mainline power failure, you must ensure that your IBM Spectrum Virtualize™ system is powered by an adequate uninterruptible power supply (UPS). Also, ensure that you have a strategy in place to safely shut down the system in such a situation.
