chvolumegroup

Use the chvolumegroup command to change volume group properties.

Syntax

   '- volumegroup_id ---'

Parameters

-name volumegroup_name: (Optional) Specifies a new volume group name. The value must be an alphanumeric string.
volumegroup_name | volumegroup_id: (Required) Specifies the volume group name or group ID for the volume you want to modify. The value must be a number for the volume group ID, and an alphanumeric string for the volume group name.

Description

This command changes volume group properties.

chvolumegroup -name newname1 1
