Migrating logical units from the Fujitsu ETERNUS to the IBM Spectrum Virtualize system

You can use the standard migration procedure with the following restrictions:

  • The IBM Spectrum Virtualize™ system must have code level or later installed before you start migration. Updates from previous IBM Spectrum Virtualize code levels to or later causes all Fujitsu ETERNUS systems that are attached to be excluded.
  • You must configure the Fujitsu ETERNUS system to work with the IBM Spectrum Virtualize system before you start migration.
  • The subsystem device driver (SDD) and Fujitsu Multipath driver cannot coexist.
  • The IBM Spectrum Virtualize system must support all host code levels.
