About this task
This information applies to the supported hardware components. Answer the following questions
before you start the installation process.
- Does your physical site meet the environment requirements for IBM Spectrum Virtualize system nodes?
- Do you have adequate rack space for your hardware?
- Do the power circuits that you are planning to use have sufficient capacity and the correct
sockets for your IBM Spectrum Virtualize installation?
- A clearly visible and accessible emergency power off switch is
required.
- Have you provided appropriate connectivity by preparing your environment?
- Do you have a USB keyboard and VGA display available for initial installation
and deployment of the IBM Spectrum Virtualize nodes? To
use the system, you must meet the minimum hardware and software requirements and ensure that other
operating environment criteria are met.
