Logs and traces
The system maintains a number of log files and trace files that can be used to manage your system and diagnose problems.
The following files are maintained:
- Contains event information and event information that is time stamped
- Contains configuration information
- Contains I/O statistics that are collected over certain intervals
- Contain a record of I/O operations over certain intervals
- Contains a record of events and events related to the license settings
- Dumps of IBM Spectrum Virtualize™ memory
- Contains a record of events and events related to the CIMOM
