Viewing the messages and codes
IBM Spectrum Virtualize™ messages and codes are returned for error conditions and operational status information.
IBM Spectrum Virtualize nodes
return the following types of messages and codes:
- Information event codes and configuration event codes
- Error codes, including boot codes, node rescue codes, node error codes, create cluster error codes, and cluster recovery codes
- Command-line interface messages for command failures
- management GUI messages
- SCSI status and error codes and SCSI sense keys, codes, and qualifiers
- Common Information Model Object Manager (CIMOM) messages
To view a message or code, click Reference in the left pane of the IBM Spectrum Virtualize Information Center and then expand the Messages and codes section. The messages and codes are listed in numerical order under the headings in that section.
