You can use several methods to determine the port speed of a Fibre Channel port on a node.

Determining the Fibre Channel port speed with the management GUI

If the node is in a system that is operational, you can determine the Fibre Channel port speed with the management GUI.

About this task

To view the Fibre Channel port speed in the management GUI, complete these steps: On the rear of the node, select the Fibre Channel port to display its port speed.
  1. Select Monitoring > System.
  2. On the System page, use the dynamic image of the system to view the node that contains Fibre Channel port.
  3. View the rear of the node and hover over the Fibre Channel port to display details about the port including the port speed.

Determining the Fibre Channel port speed with the service assistant GUI

You can determine the Fibre Channel port speed with the service assistant GUI.

About this task

To view the Fibre Channel port speed in the service assistant GUI, complete these steps:
  1. Point your web browser to serviceaddress/service for the node that you want to work on.
  2. Log on to the service assistant using the superuser password.
  3. Select the Port tab under Node Details to view the speed of the Fibre Channel port.

Determining the Fibre Channel port speed from the CLI

If the node is in a system that is operational, you can determine the Fibre Channel port speed using the CLI commands.

To view the Fibre Channel port speed of a system, issue the following command:

svcinfo lsportfc 0
