Unmapping a volume from one or more hosts

When volumes or ESXi hosts are no longer needed, or if new ones are to replace the current ones, you can unmap volumes from the hosts.

About this task

Procedure

  1. In vSphere Web Client, locate a volume that you want to unmap by going to IBM Storage Volumes and selecting the required volume.
  2. Right-click the volume and choose Unmap.

    The Unmap Volume dialog box is displayed.

  3. Select the hosts or clusters from which you want to unmap the volume, and then click OK.
