Snapshots with NPIV

The Volume Shadow Copy Service and Virtual Disk Service automatically detects whether the NPIV is enabled. If the NPIV is enabled and correctly functioning, the Volume Shadow Copy Service and Virtual Disk Service takes the appropriate actions during the various snapshot stages.
