Collecting CIM log files

You can generate CIM log files to collect diagnostic information about your system.

Before you begin

CIMOM logs are collected from the management GUI.

About this task

To collect all system logs and CIMOM logs, complete the following steps:

Procedure

  1. Launch the management GUI.
  2. Click Settings > Support > Download Support Package.
  3. Select the type of log you need and click Download.
    Note: Setting the highest level of logging on the CIMOM significantly decreases the performance of the CIMOM.
