Explanation

This error can occur because one or more of the source or target volumes for relationships within the consistency group is offline. The error can also be caused if one or more of the source or target volumes are inaccessible because it is participating in a FlashCopy® mapping that is prepared or incomplete.

Complete the following steps:
  • Ensure that at least one of the nodes in the I/O group of each of the source and target volumes is online.
  • Ensure that the source and target volumes for each relationship in the consistency group are online.
  • Correct any problems that might be holding the source or target volumes offline. For example, a thin-provisioned volume might be held offline if all available space is allocated.
  • Ensure that any FlashCopy mappings that involve the source or target volumes for each relationship are complete.
  • Fix all of the unfixed events that are in the event log.
