Deleting an LDAP group

When necessary, you can delete an LDAP group that was previously added to Spectrum Connect.

About this task

When you delete an LDAP group, the LDAP users that belonged to that group can no longer log in to the Spectrum Connect server from either the GUI or the CLI.

Procedure

  1. Click Users and Groups in the Settings menu.
The Users and Groups dialog box is displayed.
  2. Select Groups at the top.
The Groups list view is displayed and shows information for any existing LDAP groups. (See Figure 1.)
  3. Click the Remove button on the row of the group that you want to remove.
A confirmation request message is displayed.
  4. Click Yes to delete the group or No to cancel the operation.
If you selected Yes, the name of the deleted group is removed from the Groups list view.
