Planning worksheets can help identify important information that is needed when the system is installed and configured.

System configuration worksheet
You must provide information before the storage can be discovered and used by the system.
Drive configuration worksheet
The control enclosure supports up to 24 drives, which are installed in drive slots on the front of the enclosure. Some drives must be installed according to specific guidelines.
Network cable connections worksheet
During the planning process, complete the cable-connection tables with the locations of the cable connections for each control enclosure in the system.
Management address and service address worksheet for the system
Access to system management is through an embedded graphical user interface (GUI) that runs on the nodes of the system. To access the management GUI, you direct a web browser to the system management IP address, which is set during system initialization. You also must specify service addresses for each of the nodes in your system.
SAS expansion enclosure worksheet
If your system increases the amount of internal storage by adding optional SAS expansion enclosures, you must record the configuration values during the installation process.
