chwwnn

Use the chwwnn command to modify the node worldwide node name (WWNN). (This command applies to SAN Volume Controller 2145-CG8 and older nodes.)

Syntax

Parameters

-wwnnsuffix wwnn_suffix
(Required) Specifies the suffix to be used for node wwnn.
panel_name
(Optional) Specifies the node that you are servicing.
Note: If panel_name is not supplied, this parameter value applies to the node on which the command is running.

Description

This command modifies the WWNN. Use the lsservicestatus command to view suggested WWNNs.

chwwnn -wwnnsuffix 000cc
