Converting thin-provisioned volumes

You can non-disruptively convert a thin-provisioned volume into a standard-provisioned volume by using the following volume mirroring procedure:

1. Select a single-copy, thin-provisioned volume.
2. Add a standard-provisioned copy to the volume. You can choose to have the system automatically remove the thin-provisioned copy after the standard-provisioned volume is synchronized or you can manually remove it.
3. Wait while the volume mirroring feature synchronizes.
4. Remove the thin-provisioned copy from the standard-provisioned volume.
