Multisession on the VMware system

The VMware system supports multisession connections.

Only version 6.7 and later of ESX supports iSER host attachment with multisession. iSER host attachment is not supported before version 6.7 of ESX.

The VMware initiator automatically discovers all of the portals and logs in to them. The procedure for target discovery is given in Discovering targets on VMware.

For a Guest OS initiator, follow the steps under that OS type for multisession connection for that operating system type.

Note: Removing the target IP on the Dynamic Discovery tab removes all of the target portals.
