Description

This list includes nodes that are at a code level of at least 6.2.0, are visible on the fabric, and are one of the following candidates:
  • The partner node in a control enclosure to the node that is running the command.
  • In the same system as the node that is running the command.
  • In candidate state.
  • Not in a system and in service state.
  • Not in an enclosure with a stored system ID (which is not the system ID of the local node).
Nodes participating in a different system are not be shown unless they are the partner node. This table shows possible outputs.

Attribute Value
panel_name Indicates the front panel name, enclosure IDs, or canister IDs that identify the node.
Note: You can find out the panel_name for each of your nodes by issuing lsservicenodes.
cluster_id Indicates the system ID. Blank if node is a candidate; otherwise, the value is determined from vpd_cluster.

  • candidate indicates that the node is not part of the system.
node_status Indicates the node status.
  • active indicates that the node is part of a system and can perform I/O.
  • service indicates that the node is in service, standby, or node rescue.
  • candidate indicates that the node is not part of a system.
  • starting indicates that the node is part of a system and is attempting to join the system, and cannot perform I/O.
