Installing the node

There are several steps that you must complete to prepare for and then install the SA2 and SV2 hardware.

Before you begin

If you are adding a new I/O group, there is no need to turn off existing and operating system nodes before you begin.

Procedure

  1. Prepare for the hardware installation by confirming that you have all the required planning information and parts.
  2. Install the nodes.
  3. Connect Fibre Channel and Ethernet cables.
  4. Verify that the node is operational.
