SAN Volume Controller 2145-DH8 PCI express expansion slots

The PCI (Peripheral Component Interconnect) express expansion slots and option adapters provide dedicated, unidirectional, point-to-point connections for the SAN Volume Controller 2145-DH8 .

PCI express expansion slots and optional adapters

Table 1 shows the PCI express expansion slots and where the I/O adapters can be installed. The SAN Volume Controller 2145-DH8 system can support the following number of each adapter type.
  • Three 8 Gbps Fibre Channel (8 Gb FC)
  • Four two-port 16 Gbps Fibre Channel (16 Gb FC)
  • One 10 Gbps Ethernet adapters (10 GbE)
